Welcome to Starlight Lake. ❄️

Collage with summer memories and winter second chances.

There’s something about a small town in the snow that just feels like home.

When I started dreaming up Christmas at Starlight Lake, I knew exactly where I wanted to set it: the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. I’d always wanted to go, and when I finally visited on a family trip, it was even more charming than I imagined. The winding roads, the quiet beauty of the lake, the timeless feel of the towns stayed with me, and I knew I wanted to visit them in my writing.

So when it came time to create a brand-new setting, separate from my Ashford Falls universe, Starlight Lake was born. A little nostalgic. A little magical. A place where summers are made for swimming, boating, and barefoot evenings by the fire pit. And winters? They’re for coming home.

For Clemmie and Noah, Starlight Lake is that kind of place. Their families were “summer people,” visiting the lake every year for more than a decade. As neighbors, they grew up sharing campfires, canoe rides, neighborhood ice cream runs, and quiet teenage crushes. But time and distance drove them apart.

Now, they’re back. Alone. Snowed in. And forced to confront not just the memories of those summers, but the hopes they never stopped carrying.

If you love:

  • Small towns with big heart

  • Holiday magic and second chances

  • Little brother’s best friend romance

  • Ice cream, cinnamon rolls, and mistletoe

…then I hope you’ll fall in love with Christmas at Starlight Lake the way I did.

The story officially launches October 7, but you can preorder it now and be among the first to visit. I’ll be sharing more about Clemmie and Noah’s story in the weeks to come—but today, I just wanted to say

Welcome to Starlight Lake. ❄️

Preorder now and be one of the first to visit Starlight Lake this holiday season.
