Welcome Back to Ashford Falls
There are fictional towns you visit once and then there are fictional towns you settle into like your favorite cozy sweater.
For me, and for so many of my readers, Ashford Falls is that place.
It’s where snow-dusted Christmases turn into cinnamon-scented springs, where neighbors wave from porches, where gossip moves faster than the river, and where love somehow finds a way.
With Sweet Dreams arriving on March 3, it felt like the perfect moment to take you back to the town at the center of some of my sweetest stories.

Cupid’s Coffeeshop
So much of this fictional world began right here, inside a little shop inherited by three cousins with one year to make it work.
It became the beating heart of the Ashford Falls universe. It’s a gathering place for:
-first dates
- snow-day miracles
- heart-to-hearts
-warm mugs and warmer smiles
And one of the most beloved stories in that series was the December novella, Cup of Joy, starring Joy Baker and Patrick Lockhart. (It currently appears in the second volume of Cupid’s Coffeeshop)
Joy was the first Baker sister readers ever met, but she won’t be the last. Sisters Ivy, Holly, Ginger, and Elle, along with cousin Nick, will each get their own story during the Cupid’s Sweet Shoppe series.

Cupid’s Sweet Shoppe
Directly next door to Cupid’s Coffeeshop sits Cupid’s Sweet Shoppe, run by the Baker sisters.
There is no “normal” day in this bakery.
There are days filled with cookies, chaos, tradition, sisterhood, and enough sweetness to power an entire town.
And next week, on March 3, you’ll step fully into their world with Sweet Dreams. It’s a gentle romance full of warmth, friendship, and second chances, and the perfect entry into the new series.
What About the Bridesmaids?
Completely different universe!
The Always a Bridesmaid series takes place primarily in Savannah, not Ashford Falls.
Different timelines.
Different geography.
Different worlds entirely.
So if you’ve followed Erin, Dylan, and the whole Savannah crew, don’t worry, you’re not missing any crossovers. Ashford Falls is its own cozy bubble, and the Always a Bridesmaid universe stands on its own.
Why I Keep Returning to Ashford Falls
Ashford Falls is cozy fiction comfort food for me.
I can picture:
✨ cupcake boxes stacked in the Cupid’s Sweet Shoppe window
✨ neighbors crowding Cupid’s Coffeeshop on the first chilly morning of fall
✨ sparks flying between two people who absolutely did not plan on falling in love
✨ the kind of community that rallies around you, whether you want them to or not
This town is where I explore my favorite type of story, the warm, charming, small-town romances that feel like curling up under a quilt with a cup of cocoa.
And I love that readers feel at home here, too.
With Sweet Dreams arriving March 3, I can’t wait for you to walk back into Ashford Falls with me.
Until then, the ovens are warming, the coffee’s brewing, and there’s always a seat waiting for you.
